Rideable started with problem in the market. E bikes were great until they had an issue. Afterwards repairs and sourcing parts mean many bikes end up as e-waste. Conversion kit's seemed like the best option to combat this problem, but they often look very "diy". Our goal is to use widely available parts to build high quality bikes that look intentional and crafted.
We're not a big-box bike shop. We're a small workshop that obsesses over cable routing, motor selection, and making sure every build we hand over is something we'd be proud to ride ourselves.
We think bikes bring so much fun and joy back into our lives, and so why not ride one as real world practical transport. Who doesn't want to find a bit of joy on the way to work or school?
